We all know how difficult it is for military spouses to maintain and build a career. Many military spouses have found that working for the federal government is a great option. In our latest AMPA webinar, we discuss the secrets to successful resume writing when applying for federal jobs on USAJobs.gov. (It’s completely different from normal resume writing.) We are pleased to welcome Lauren Augustine as our presenter. As a Legislative Associate for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Lauren Augustine supports the maintenance of Congressional and advocacy-related relationships and supports advocacy programs. Prior to IAVA, Lauren worked as a federal employment veteran career coach providing one-on-one counseling for veterans wishing to work in the federal government. Lauren deployed to Iraq as an Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operator from 2010-2011. She holds a BA in International Studies and Russian Language from Virginia Tech.
